Everyone starts somewhere. If you have never played padel before, the Initiation Class is your first step, and it is designed to make that step easy.
The Initiation Class
A 60 minute session focused entirely on the fundamentals: the rules of the game, how scoring works, basic strokes, court positioning, and how rallies are built. No prior experience required, and you will play actual padel within the session. The racket is included, so you just arrive and play.
Getting on Playtomic
After the Initiation Class, you'll be introduced to Playtomic, the app Bam Bam Padel uses for every court and class booking. It also helps you find open matches and players at your level, so you can keep playing between coaching sessions.
What comes next
New players usually join the group academy class that matches their level next, most often Beginner. From there, the programme moves you up through levels as your game develops.
Train weekly, build your game
Every session follows a planned curriculum: warm-up, technical drills, game play, cool-down. Not ad hoc hitting. Sessions are led by Head Coach Ceres, Senior Coach Guillermo or Coach Daniel, and groups are kept small so every player gets real feedback, not just supervision.

Players join the group that matches their Playtomic rating, so there is no ambiguity about which class is yours.
Initiation
0 – 0.5Never played before. Rules, scoring and your first rallies.
Beginner
0.5 – 0.9Just starting out, building the basic strokes.
High Beginner
1.5 – 1.9Rallies hold together. The focus moves to consistency and court positioning.
Bronze
2.0 – 2.9Developing consistency and positioning further.
Silver
3.0 – 3.9Capable of tactical play and stronger, more varied shots.
Gold
4.0 – 4.9High level of control, strategy and match experience.

Playtomic's rating carries a reliability score that firms up the more competitive matches you play. A Levelling Session sets your reliability at 50%, so if yours is already higher, expect it to reset to 50% too.

Private lessons are the most direct route to improvement. One coach, your schedule, your focus areas. Sessions run 60 minutes and can be booked any day of the week by appointment. Ceres, Guillermo and Daniel all take private sessions, and the coach assigned depends on your needs and their availability. Message us and we'll match you.
Up to four players can share a private session, which makes it a strong option for couples, friends who play together, or a small group who want focused development without the cost of a solo booking.

Spanish padel, delivered in Ubud
All three coaches hold certification from the Spanish Padel Federation, and play the game the way it is played in international competition.
Ceres
Most people call me Ceresli. I'm currently in Asia's top 5 female players, and I started coaching tennis at 16 before shifting to padel after years of competitive play. I hold a degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences and I'm also a physical trainer, so I help players build their game and their fitness together. As a coach I'm strategic, technical and I make learning fun, for complete beginners and advanced players alike.
Guillermo
You can call me Guille. I've been playing padel since I was 11 and coaching since I was 16, it's been a huge part of my life. I've coached players of every level and worked in a competitive junior padel academy. I'm also a qualified nutritionist, which lets me bring a more complete approach to performance. Motivation matters most to me, so I give 100% in every class.
Daniel
You can call me Dani. I've played padel since I was 8, when a court opened next to my house, and started competing in the Madrid federation at 12, then kept competing in leagues and academies ever since. I've coached every level since I was 18, from first-timers to competitive players, and I hold a degree in physical conditioning, so I can shape your fitness work around your game too. I'm friendly, I like a laugh, and I'm demanding on court, because that's what gets your level up fastest.

The ball machine is a self-development tool designed to complement your coaching sessions, not replace them. Use it to drill a specific shot after a group class, work through feedback from your coach, or simply get extra court time between sessions.
We run an advanced padel shooter operated by tablet, with a wide range of shots on offer, and it's built to train with multiple people at the same time. No coach required: book the machine and the court, and work independently.

Padel academy FAQ
Yes. The Initiation Class is built for people who have never held a padel racket, and it costs 200,000 IDR with a racket included. It's a full 60-minute session covering the rules, scoring, basic strokes and court positioning, and you'll play real rallies before it ends.
Group classes start at 300,000 IDR per player and private lessons start at 350,000 IDR per player. Private lessons get cheaper the more of you there are, and the rate depends on the coach: with Ceres or Guillermo it's 1,200,000 IDR one-to-one down to 400,000 IDR each in a group of four; with Daniel it's 1,100,000 IDR down to 350,000 IDR. Buy six adult lessons and the seventh is free, valid for three months.
No, but the Initiation Class at 200,000 IDR is the low-commitment way in for complete beginners. It includes a racket, runs a full 60 minutes and has you playing padel in the first session.
