What is padel?

Tennis's fun, social cousin

Padel is a racket sport played in doubles on an enclosed, glass-walled court about one-third the size of a tennis court. The ball can be played off the glass walls, which makes rallies longer and the whole game more social and accessible.

It uses a solid, perforated paddle instead of a strung racket and a slightly depressurised ball. Most beginners are enjoying a real game within their first session, no experience necessary. The sport is governed worldwide by the International Padel Federation, and in Spain, where the modern game grew up, by the Spanish Padel Federation.

Your first hour of padel, sorted

This is how most people at the club started. One hour with one of our coaches: the rules, scoring, the basic strokes, and real rallies before the hour is up.

Everything is included, so there's nothing to buy and nothing to bring except sports clothes, trainers and water. Afterwards, the recovery spa is free, like it is for every player.

For most beginners, yes. The court is smaller, the paddle has no strings to control and the walls keep the ball in play, so you can hold a real rally in your first session. That is the main reason people get hooked so quickly.

Book a 60-minute initiation class for 200,000 IDR, racket included. Message us with your availability and we will find a slot. You do not need a partner, any equipment or any experience.

Sports clothes, trainers with a flat sole, and water. We provide rackets and balls. The courts are covered, so rain is never a reason to cancel.

No. Tell us you are looking for players and we will slot you into a group or an open match, or you can find one yourself in the Playtomic app. Padel is doubles, but finding the other three is our problem, not yours.
