The Best Padel Club in Bali, 2026

The best padel club in Bali for you is the one with covered courts, certifiable coaching, and a reason to stay after the match. Those three things separate the clubs worth driving to from the ones that are four glass boxes and a car park. Everything else, the branding, the app, the smoothie menu, is decoration.

Padel has grown faster in Bali than anywhere else in Southeast Asia. New clubs opened across the island through 2024 and 2025, which is good news, because choice is good news. It also means the gap between the best and the worst has widened considerably, and the websites all look the same.

Here is what I would check, in order, if I were picking one tomorrow and had never been.

In Spain, an open-air court is fine. In Bali, an open-air court is a court you can use for about four hours a day, and only on the days it isn't raining.

Between the midday heat and the afternoon downpours, an uncovered club spends a lot of the year cancelling. If you book a 4 PM court in February and it's uncovered, you are gambling. Roofed courts turn padel from a weather-dependent hobby into something you can actually put in a calendar.

So: check the photos for a roof before you check anything else. It is the one thing a club cannot fix later without rebuilding.

Anyone can call themselves a padel coach. There is no law against it, and in a sport growing this fast there are a lot of people doing exactly that after eighteen months of playing.

Spanish Padel Federation certification is a real, checkable standard. So is a competitive record you can look up. Ask a club who certified their coaches and where. A club that has them will tell you in one sentence. A club that doesn't will tell you about their passion for the sport.

Honestly, this is the item that changes your experience most, and it's the one people check least. A great court with a bad coach makes you a worse player very efficiently.

This is the opinion, so here it is plainly. Too many clubs are optimised for selling court time rather than for producing better players. A full booking calendar looks great on a spreadsheet. If nobody in the building is improving, you are running a very expensive hire service.

The tell is what happens between bookings. Does the club run level-based groups so you're playing people your own standard? Are there social formats where you rotate partners? Is there anyone watching your matches who could tell you what you're doing wrong?

A club that only sells you an hour and waves goodbye is a club where you will plateau in four months and not know why.

You will not choose a club because of its cafe. You will keep going back to one partly because of it.

Padel is social. The good clubs understand that the hour after the match matters as much as the match. Somewhere to sit, something cold, a recovery room, people who know your name. That's the difference between a place you book and a place you belong to.

A kids programme matters too, even if you don't have kids. It tells you the club is planning to exist in five years.

Coaching is led by Ceres, currently ranked in Asia's top five female players, and Guillermo, who came out of a competitive junior academy in Madrid. Both are certified by the Spanish Padel Federation. Our group and private lessons run from a first initiation class through to competition coaching.

Off court there's a full recovery spa with sauna, steam room, ice bath and a saltwater jacuzzi, free with every court booking, and The Winning Serve canteen for coffee and homemade gelato. There's a kids academy for ages 5 to 15. Everything is on one site, so you park once.

If you're staying in Canggu or Seminyak, we are probably not your club. Ubud is a real drive from the coast, and no amount of ice bath is worth ninety minutes on a scooter in traffic twice a week. Find something local and come to us when you're up this way.

If you want to play at 11 PM, we close at 10. If you're a serious competitive player looking for a deep pool of 5.0 partners on a Tuesday, the bigger coastal clubs will have more of them than we do.

I'd rather tell you that than have you book, drive an hour, and be annoyed.
